I tried to crochet this
pattern. Great to do, but after a while I decided to quit. In this case the pattern is too open looped and too cold in my opinion to wear on a colorful dress with short sleeves like this one. So I started again and knitted a smaller
bolero version, this time with needle 5 and this
yarn.
What do you think? L likes it.
A friend of mine has two daughters. I've promised to knit her two bolero's. I like knitting more than crocheting so I'll knit them. I love the colour on the bolero for L. It will match lots and lots of things.
ReplyDeletesomebody else in knitting mood yay! :)
ReplyDeletei think it is very nice and i like the colour a lot!
It's very stylish. Normally my girls like things as pink and girly as possible but I'd love them to wear something like this - I must try harder!
ReplyDeleteLooks really nice. Did you know that your bolero inspired the bolero for the little princess I made?
ReplyDeleteWat heb jij een leuke blog! Geweldig! En die stokpaardjes, helemaal te gek, ik zou graag weten hoe je ze gemaakt hebt....
ReplyDeleteI love it! the crochet one is beautiful, too, but I agree about the warmth of knitted. I have only boys--I'm wondering what the (young) male equivalent of a bolero would be, if any.
